When you place text in the platformer mode, it appears behind terrain, unless placed on the top layer
That’s not really an error, it’s just how it works.

Yeah normally it would appear above terrain in top-down.

I highly doubt it is an error. To be honest it makes it easier to decorate!
It’s not supposed to be. The error is that terrain typically is basically part of the background, but now it behaves more like a prop
That’s for top down, it is more like a prop and it will block, it’s basically a wall.
It behaves like a prop but has no layer option. It’s kinda annoying
