What else do you need help with? Do you need ideas for the map?
How do I make the ball go out and or the net? Do you have any ideas because I can’t really make “height differences” and if the ball goes outside the lines or bounces inside of the lines or if it “hits” the net
Hm… let me try something and experiment.
Okay thank you
What if you made someone play against themself? That way the opponent is “invisible”.
No…. because it is a 1v1 and it’s more fun that way, thanks for the idea though, @Artemis
Nvm edit,
I actually might make that an option like , “Train with a coach or something”
Ok. No worries. You could name the coach after a gimkit player, or do a select a coach, where you get different tips and tricks. You could add a stand for “food” like shields and stuff.
Okay! Thanks! that’s a good idea.
P.S.
@BountyHunterX are you done with the guide yet? Sorry if i’m inpatient its just a me thing you know. Just want to know
Not quite, but getting close!
Do you need any storylines or lore?
No…. just plain old tennis
For detecting if a player crossed the midline, use a laser that triggers a checker. On game start (lifecycle), get 2 relays (one for each team) and use that to grant them separate items via item granters. The checker checks for what team a player is on using the amount of item setting and the opposite team of who crossed the line gets the point. Then the next point is played. Also, I LOVE TENNNSISIISISISIISI!
I also love tennis so i’m combining my 2 favorite things!
For if the ball goes out, just have ball score zones as boundaries around the terrain. For hitting the net… that depends on how you want to simulate it: chance or something else.
@Kosm0-o , (sorry for pinging) But if it is a ball zone, the opponent can just avoid every ball and just win the point
Have 3 for one side and 3 for the other side, then have the ball zone broadcast on a different channel depending on it’s side. That way, we know who let the ball go out, giving the other person a point.
What are you talking about for “3” is it the ball capture zone? (i’m sorry, i’m slow sometimes)
Oops, yes I was talking about the ball zone.
Here guys, I’ve GTG…
