Sometimes, when i go to play a game in platformer, while I am doing some jumps it just suddenly moves me back a bit. I know it is not teleporting because you can see that the gim had suddenly moved backwards. I find this really annoying. Can someone please explain why this is happening?
This is lag. I’ve experienced this before, especially when the bottom of my Chromebook was very warm/hot. It’s been a few months since it’s happened to me, though, but yeah, it’s strong lag.
Now that you mention it, I was playing that game for a while before I experienced it. Thanks Alexc
It’s probably delay, happens to people with bad wi-fi. I just experienced it last week. Just try clearing your cache and cookies, clear your tabs or restart your computer, that’s how I solved it.
The thing is, I had very good wi-fi, so I don’t know if that’s the case.
Well I don’t know what to tell you. I’d probably just do all the things I just listed.
Doesn’t matter. Good wifi, bad wifi, there will still be lag
Happens to me all the time especially in dld
. Probably just lag.
Network delay or lag. Lag happens when you play on budget devices in chromebooks. Try playing on a device with better performance and see if it improves. And also try moving closer to the wifi Router. Note that gimkit is designed with mind for low-end laptops so celerons and old i5s e.g. a old laptop with a i5-3210M and 6gb ram from 2012 run fine.
Yeah, and if it’s a Gimkit Creative map this is also more common. If you have, for example, a zone connected to an item granted to take away something. I just tried this, if you only take away what’s necessary, which is 50, then it’s all right. But when you try to take away something like 1,000 it can’t handle the sudden, drastic measure it’s told to do. So, it lags your gim to compensate.
If it’s NOT a creative map, then it’s what everyone else says, which is Wi-Fi, the computer in general, and stuff like that.
It is a creative map and at the end there is a big number of items granted but it happens before the end though.
