Story game "GIM OF THE SEAS" ideas (all ideas will be taken into consideration) 🛳

IDEAS PLEASE
because…
its palmtrees!! back and… needing help again

making a story game about a crew of gims (players) who get lost at sea in a ship accident. they settle on an island and have to get camp. there is also one interactive npc there, azure, who has already been lost there and wants to work with you. the point is survival and on day 4 if you have enough points (40) you will get rescued. if not you will have the option to keep going or end game there. how to get points. every day you survive or major event that you survive you get 5 points. also every time you eat food or drink water you get 3 points. catching treasure gets 4 points.

–ALL IDEAS WILL BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION–

day 1: settling in cutscene and build base
day 2: collecting resources and going treasure hunting with your team
day 3: you have to choose a peril:

not alone

stormy weather

ouch!

(not alone: meet a native tribe that you attempt to befriend but they wont budge so you have a bad relationship with them. stormy weather: a storm wipes away your base and you have to restart from day one and also the plane arrives later if you do that. ouch!: azure gets hurt and you have to take the rest of the game by yourself.)

day 4: you see a plane flying overhead but you have to cross a stream to fly your flag if you want the plane to see you. if you dont get across before the plane passes by you have to wait longer until the next plane comes (in a few more days). you only have a certain amount of stepping stones (depending on the amount of players) that fall into the river if you aren’t touching them, and only one person can fit on a stepping stone.

im taking ANY feedback if anyone has any plus ideas for any other mechanics of the game

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

edit: yes the island is tropical

Huh. Maybe you could add some sort of chase scene for the not alone part(they chase you and if you get caught you get put in their prison and the game ends.)
However, the chase part is harder because you have to add zones that activate based on a timer and that will respawn the player if they get caught in it. And for more fun, you can add obstacles and adjust the timer to make it harder or easier.
If u wanna add a boat of some sort you can have the boat prop in the middle of the sea and teleporting the camera view to it when travelling between islands(or you can make two separate boats that are oriented in the direction the player is “heading towards.”

How about It’s set in the future? like, your ship that was sent out by your mother corporation is looking for a habitable world, but since ur not the best pilot you crash? then you can use advanced technology to build a base, hunt for food and eventually escape!

@Reaper_leviathan oh yeahhhhhh thats great but can you describe more what you mean by underwater exploration??

Yes definitely. You could add some sort of underwater temple or maze. You could also implement air pockets and an oxygen meter using item manager.

(For Day 2) Maybe you could go to a temple and look for valuable treasures, but will have to face enemies and dodge traps.

But you do have to take into consideration the memory usage despite the game having 100% max storage(games get really laggy around 10%).
