Snoopy's Guide on how to Make Famous Art Pieces in Gimkit

Hello Gimkit enthusiasts, today I am going to teach you how to make a variety of famous art pieces! Please note: this is my first guide and I’m not the best at barrier art but I am here to try my best! Now let us get started…

How to make ¨The Starry Night¨

starry_night

Step 1

First get a big barrier and make it blue, this is the background color. Get a few metal poles and tint them black. Place the poles the way I did in the picture below to form a mountain like shape. Once you’re done, get black barriers and fill in your shape.

Step 2

Get two light yellow rectangle barriers and put them on the left behind the mountain (make sure its below the mountain layer). Put one of the barriers at the end of the first light yellow rectangle barrier and tilt it upward. Now get two more light yellow barriers, this time circles. Make one smaller than the other and place it just like I did in the picture below.

Step 3

On the light yellow barriers place a darker yellow barrier on top for detail (copy the way I did it in the image)

Step 4

Get a few bright yellow circles (all different sizes) and spread them around among the sky (these will be the stars)

Step 5 (FINAL)

Now in the bottom corner get some black rectangle barriers and make some taller than the others (make each building a different size). Finally get small, bright yellow rectangles and use them as windows.

Step 1

Place a blackish-green barrier as the background and then add 2 brown rectangle barriers (one darker than the other). Place the lighter brown barrier in the bottom right corner (close to the edge) and place the darker barrier in the middle of the first one (make sure the darker barrier is skinnier than the lighter one). Then place a white barrier slightly slanted at the top of the brown barrier.

Step 2

Get a rectangle barrier and make it a dark peach color (this is the neck). On top of the neck, place a circle barrier that’s peach colored (slightly lighter than the neck). Now get a blue rectangle barrier and make it slightly slanted and put it almost at the top of the head (leave some room for the hair). Finally, get a blonde rectangle barrier (make the blue one wider than the blonde one) and place it above the blue one

Step 3

Place a circle barrier that is a darker blonde on top of the first blonde barrier (from step two), then get a few dark blonde rectangle barriers and have them hanging down the side (Copy the way I did in the image). Then add a light grey circle barrier and put it on the right of the head (I forgot to add it but you’ll see it when you click the final results, these are the earrings)

Step 4

Now the face! Get two white circle barriers for eyes (give them a border). Place a text box with this symbol: ( . ) and use the Galindo font. Resize them the way you would like (size doesn’t matter). Get a rectangle barrier that is a slightly darker color then the skin and place it slightly slanted the way I did in the image. Get a red rectangle barrier, slightly slanted, and place it the way I did. I added a white barrier that is slightly transparent and put it over the whole thing for detail.

Make sure you added the earring I talked about in Step 3 that I forgot to originally add.

How to make ¨The Scream¨

The_Scream_by_Edvard_Munch_1893_800x

Step 1

Place an orange rectangle barrier for the background. At the bottom, place a long brown rectangle barrier and make it slanted.

Step 2

Below the brown barrier, fill in the whole area with the same color barriers (same color as the slanted line from step one). Now get dark brown rectangle barriers and place them the way I did in the image.

Step 3

Now at the top of the dark brown barriers, place another dark brown barrier that goes across all of them. Do the same thing in the middle area.

Step 4

At the bottom right, place a dark blue barrier. Get a smaller barrier that is an even darker blue and have it at the top right of the first barrier (slightly slanted). Get two peach circle barriers (with the border on), and place one over the other at the top for the head (have the one at the bottom slightly smaller)

Step 5

Get a barrier that is the same color as the head (turn off the border), and place it in the middle of the face (so that the curved line in the middle of the face is hidden). Now time for the face! Get two small white barriers, (border on), and use those as the eyes. For pupils, use the: (.) symbol in a text box with the Roboto font. (Do the same for the nostrils). For the mouth, get two small black barriers and place them one over the other as shown in the image below.

Step 6 (Final)

Get another dark blue barrier and put it on the left side of the body. Get a rectangle barrier, that is the same color as the skin (with border), and place them like I did in the image (Do the same for both sides). Get a circle barrier that’s the same color as the skin and put them on top of the arms. Get another circle barrier, the same color as before, and put it in between the arm and the hand where the curved line is to cover it. In the background, place a few blue and yellow rectangle barriers scattered around for more detail (you can also add more detail to the bridge like I did). Finally, get two long black barriers and place them in the left corner. (I added a white barrier that’s slightly transparent again and put it over the whole thing for detail).

Thanks for checking out my guide, I will be sure to add more pieces soon but this is all I have for now. I’m thinking about getting this turned into a wiki so some of you creative users can make art of your own! If I can get this as a wiki make sure to ask me for permission to edit first and show me what you made beforehand and if I allow it, you can add it.

Thank you again for reading!

What´s your opinion on my guide?
  • Amazing guide, I love the details you added!
  • This guide was pretty good but I think you could do more
  • It wasn’t a bad guide, i’m just probably never going to use this stuff
  • Meh, it’s alright
  • It was pretty bad, no time or effort put into it
  • ITS TERRIBLE! Worse guide ever!

If you wanted to use this guide for a game you could make an art gallery or even use some as decoration for like pictures (maybe with less steps)

The Scream and Girl with a pearl earring are so iconic. You could’ve maybe added more detail in the starry night painting and some eyelashes on the girl but overall the guide is very good!

Ahem. You’ve got some guts to vote this.
This guide is a masterpiece just like Starry Night.
