I’ve looked in guides, but from what I’ve seen I can’t use it in my situation.
I’m trying to layer using just 1 1/2 blocks of height (at most), and it seems that layering guides assume you are gonna be able to layer with at least 2 blocks of height.
For context, I’m trying to make a wall.
If there isn’t anything useful ig I’ll just use barriers.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure in your case barriers would be your best bet…
Someone else may have a different solution though.
nvm stone barriers are way too big
Just use the barrier device…
It doesn’t look all that great tho, and I’m trying to get this to look pretty nice.
You can try using a stadium ad card, those are similar to barriers and may work for what you want.
Wait that actually was a really good idea.
It works a lot better than a barrier, especially with the sharper corners
tho
quick question,
do you know of a way to crop props?
You cant
its not possible as of right now
Why is the research tag here . . .
Also, barrier device or a prop of similar proportions.
darn
alright
I’ll try to find some other way to hide the bits that I don’t want
You can just put it under another prop or click the prop and then click the resize button to shrink and scale the prop.
But yeah, no cropping yet.
because smaller laying is something I haven’t seen before
and idk
my thought process is that hey maybe people will start finding new ways to layer
aka research
So, have you tried using the ad cards? I think they can make a wall and they also tint really well. And you can shrink them vertically, if that’s what you mean. And they have shadows.
#adcardsareunderappreciated
yeah!
it does work really well, especially for two walls side by side
now I’m just trying to figure out how to hide the bits poking out when I’m using it for walls that are 1 block wide
Decently sure this doesn’t meet the qualifications.
also just because there isn’t a guide doesn’t mean it isnt known.
Can I see a screenshot so I know what you mean?
alr
well, good to know!
On the left wall, which has two side by side blocks, the ad card works really well, but part of it sticks out for skinnier parts
