(Don’t flag this) In memory of Outcome Memories (Y’all ignore this
) and @Gaming-Phoenix and the other forumers who have recently left us, I would like to make a top-down ASYM game that every forumer contributes to.
Details if you would like to help
If you would like to help, make an 8x8 area, and design it to your heart’s content. You may use any type of terrain, props, barriers, and even walls (for obstruction.) These chunks of terrain will be melded together to create one fractured map. We’ll call them realities for now.
Plot
After the loss of so many friends, many forumers from across realities, who call themselves the Uprising, banded together and left in search of a better place. After searching in vain for so long, the Uprising found a peculiar location: the Shatter, a space where their thoughts and realities bled together. The Uprising, thinking they found a place they could call home, stayed in the Shatter, not knowing what lurked in the darkest reaches of the Shatter…
I just came up with this lore
, so I will answer any questions you have.
Gameplay
Shattered Memories will be an asymmetrical horror game, where the players control characters in the Uprising, attempting to survive against a player controlling the Broken Vanguard, a distorted entity created from the most malicious thoughts of the members of the Uprising. Each member will have abilities they can use to evade the Broken Vanguard long enough until a portal appears, allowing them to escape from the Shatter. The player controlling the Broken Vanguard must use their attacks and abilities to prevent the Uprising from leaving, capturing them forever in the fragmented recourses of the Shatter.
If you contribute to the game, you will most likely receive a token of my gratitude: a picture of everybody who contributes’s OCs!
Get on my good side, and there’s a chance you might be playable in the game! Your Reality will definitely be added, whether you’re in the game or not. Character abilities will be discussed at a later time.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me. In the meantime, I would like to thank @Scary_Friend for the idea with his community project.
