Set questions and optionals?

I just published my Gimkit Creative game, and I have set questions for certain things because I use the questioner on some parts as a mechanic. Can you fix the creative maps so that when you have a set Kit on a questioner that is the one the published part uses? Because otherwise I will have to delete LOTS of mechanics.

I’m a bit confused, can you clarify again on what you’re asking?

So I have questioners that I use for mechanics, but when I published my game, it asked for a kit and the kit is on every questioner including the ones used for game mechanics.

so your asking how to make it so that the two questioner devices have two different kit links for them

Basically, but when I select the kit on the published version, it makes that the kit for every single questioner.

I’m having the same problem as you. I’ll be looking for an answer and updating you. I don’t know if there is a way at the time though, but I hope so. I hope this isn’t off topic…

No its definitely on topic! Thank you! I need to figure this out soon. I have lots of friends that want to use this game.

The link on the questioner device is for showcase links and playtesting. When you publish a map, it asks for any kit. This is intended.

If you want to make a custom kit, you would need to create your own questions in-game using the text device, buttons, triggers, overlays, popups, etc.

are you able to but one link in one questioner device and another link in a different device

Hmm. I spent so much time and don’t get how to do that. Can you maybe give me a more in depth way on how to?

Use properties to store questions. For example:

Property name: Question 1
Property value (text): How many letters are in the word “hello”. Is it a. 4, b. 5, c. 2, or d. 0?

You can have four buttons labeled a, b, c, and d. Have another property store the answer. For example:

Property Name: Question 1 answer
property value (text): b

Put some block code and logic in the system, and you can show your own questions!

Well, I sadly never really learned that block stuff so I am stuck. There should be a setting on the questioner on whether the link on the questioner is used or not.
