Requesting ideas for Tunnel Battle!

Tunnel Battle is a game I’m making, but I think more could be added on. Here’s what I have so far:

-2 Team fighting game with 3 classes

-Miner: 50 HP, 1.00 speed, .25x Damage, C Timekeeper, R Pickaxe, 15 Dyn.Copper, 5 Dyn.Silver
-Scout: 50 HP, 25 Shield, 1.25 speed, .5x Damage Unc Slingshot, C Zapper
-Tank: 50 HP, 100 Shield, .75 speed, .5x Damage, R Evil Eye, 4 Shield Cans

5 Layers of dynamic blocks, (Dirt, Stone, Copper, Silver Gold)
Underground props: Rocks, 3D Printer (1 use of 35 shield), Shield Coral (Slow regenerating shield)

Wall - High HP object in the middle of the map encouraging tunneling, but when broken has a laser to punish players for 40 HP on crossing.
Scattered props above ground as cover.

I will try and read all suggestions, but keep in mind I will not add all suggestions. Classes will have a lower chance of being put in, so they must be balanced and fit into the game. Thank you for reading all the way through! :]

Try covering the tunnels in a darker barrier so people can see less.
Then if you have not, make a brown barrier at the background of the mine.

Thanks for the suggestion! I also made it so it gets darker the further you go down.

Maybe add secrets in some places I guess?
Edit: Like a item granters behind the blocks granting like different gadgets/cash
Edit 2: Or… a secret room

Try to make a cave in the game

I added caves that will hold some of the powerups so it’s easier to find them!

what about a secret bunker in an unsuspecting place where there is a certain gim that needs something. If the player finds it, they get a good gadget

That’s interesting, but since this is a team fighting game it seems a bit too unfair. Sorry!

Maybe instead of having layers of a specific ore you could do random (just spam them)
Have funny skits along the way like

I eat air

or

Did you know every single day 15,000 people climb the moon? If you did then you’re lying 'cuz I was lying

Maybe you could also add treasure hunts
and xp levels

…I don’t think people understand that this is a team fighting game.

I get it is a battle game but if you really run out of ideas maybe you could make another arena that is capture the flag and have a 2 in 1 game

Great minds think alike apparently, as currently it IS a capture the flag game. You have to collect enemy intel, and bring it back to your base to get points. lol

How is it ctf on platformer?

I’m using items and checkers, which add to a property, so that when you take the enemies item (red/green fish) and take it back to base, it counts toward the total score.
