Repeater Setting

I’ve asked this on tugted 2 multiple times, but no one had an answer. What is the repeater setting below for? It doesn’t seem to affect multiple repeaters running at the same time nor multiple wire pulses the repeater sends.

Did you check if it changes the value of the wire pulse?

Don’t exactly remember, this was a question from a few months ago I completely forgot about. I’m guessing that I had multiple repeaters running at the same time, and even though it was set to one it didn’t do anything. Not sure about the second fact.

So basically, have a repeater with like a 10s delay. Next, it should be triggered by… a trigger! Wire the repeater to a counter and step on the trigger a lot, and we have our answer!

So if you change it to 5, and wire it up to a counter, it won’t increment by 5?

What do you mean value? I thought wire pulses just trigger stuff.

I set the max tasks to 3, and when I started stepping on the trigger a bunch the counter kept incrementing from each trigger pulse until it reached 3. After 10 seconds, the counter incremented to 6.

So, you stepped on the trigger 3 times, and the counter reached 6?!

That makes sense. Glad we finally figured out what that does!

I don’t think she cared enough to turn off the pulse at the start.

Ok. I think I get it now. You had the repeater trigger at the start.

Now that it’s been figured out, how could we use this?

Time zone. The deeper you go in, the faster time passes.

I’ll remove the solution until later to see if there are ideas. This can optimize multiple repeaters that are running for things like clicker games.
