I’ve encountered this glitch a few times. I don’t know the exact circumstances that trigger it, but at least for me it’s not too often. Try again and see what happens.

Yes @polaris234 is right… Gimkit isn’t really made for mobile, just for PC, so if it doesn’t work, just know that it’s really laggy for mobile

Please do not use AI for this sort of problems.
Understand that chatGPT does not play gimkit (or other AI that you use) and all he knows is information from forums/docs/internet. he does not really know how to fix errors but simply suggests options that can be the cause of a similar bug in other games.
You did nothing wrong, just know for the future

Yes, they did nothing wrong. I’m not certain why you’re digging into his post in the first place. Look, he credited AI [1]. It’s not a guide; it’s not an ideas post. He has followed the rules on AI that 2468 implemented.
He’s just trying to help, leave him be.

Does pressing the button the way that you are going, and then releasing work?
This happened to me, i recommend just ignoring it or contacting gimkit.
