So i might have just figured out how to do it and wanted to ask why it works like this

The reason why it looks like that is because if the devices & blocks needed to make it work, it may look weird but if it works you got it. And when you tinker and make new functions with devices, it will look a bit strange, there is really no explanastion why it does look like that.
