RAGE (How do I get attention in GKC?)

So here’s my problem:
Part 1. I go onto Gimkit Creative and see a bunch of low-quality parkour games that clearly look rushed.
Part 2. I think “Hmmm, if this is what I’m fighting for attention on Gimkit, then if I make a high quality game, I’m sure to get on trending!”
Part 3. I make said high quality game.
Part 4. I publish said high quality game.
Part 5. Get like 30 plays, half of them from me and my friends.
Part 6. Sigh “Why do I even try?”

Is there ANY way to get more plays for my map? I’m desperate.

You can share the game in your bio here, or on the Gimkit Wix and Discord.
I believe they have some sort of “Game Night” on the Discord where they play some high-quality games, but I can’t vouch for that lol

Unfortunately,bakedpotato is right,there isn’t really any other ways to get people to play your GKC game.

We get this question a lot.
The easiest solution:
Make low quality brain fungi games.

But yes bakedpotatoes’ answer is a much more… dignified… answer.

  1. Create a bop thumbnail (logo style).
  2. Create good descriptions (add bullet points)
  3. Test for, and remove, all bugs.
  4. Post your map on the Gimkit Wix site, discord and anywhere else you can share it.
  5. Re-release it if it nobody plays in the first 48 hours

You can’t add bullet points to your description.

You have to pay 1000 gimcoins again to rerelease.

Its actually very easy…

Summary

I made a map with over 100k plays. All you have to do is make a brain-rotted genre copy of a game (bedwars, platformer, hangout game), and I made a completely clickbait title, bright colors and a decent game.

(I dont know if you can do this as well as I did…)

Extras

I do not do this anymore because now Im using my skills. I don’t really care if people play my maps or not.

you can also post it within a certain time frame so that when people hop on creative (at 4 pm i think) they will see ur game

i know that people wont be able to see your game as soon as you post it and there is a timer thingy but idk how long it is so could someone pls tell me?

Idea 1. Make a game with barely any effort in it and slap a random description and a random TB
Idea 2. ADVERTISE!!! we’ve got Reddit, discord, wix, bolobolo
Idea 3. Become Blackhole792 or something idk

Update your game constantly, that will help get it attention, showing that you are committed to your game and that it deserves attention!

Half of the replies that are saying make a good game and good thumbnail unfortunately don’t work. It’s luck based, but setting your game to a popular or brain dead theme can help

To maximize your chances:
Post in afternoon after 4 pm EST

Bot your game by spamming plays (you can do this by yourself without any code, I’ve experimented and this can successfully get you on trending although its kinda cheating)

So yeah unless you bot it it’s mostly luck and brainrot, not game quality.

Don’t worry about plays, just put it on discord or wix so people can enjoy it if it’ a good game

Hey , @Wooper , this is a commonly asked question , before you post please search it up via the search bar. Unfortunately low effort game’s do often get on trending , because sometimes they appeal to younger audiences which is what a large section of gimkit users is made out of but this is not the case all of the time. To get more plays you could , put your game on the code sharing wix.
