Question about hosting live games

I was thinking about hosting a live game and putting the code on my game for people to play one of my published games with me, but I wasn’t sure if it was allowed. Here’s some details:

  • I will not be hosting a game on the editor, it will be my game straight from discovery.
  • I will not be publishing a new map with the code, I will be putting the code in my already-existent published map.
  • The code will be in a corner of the map, and not forced onto the player.

If it isn’t allowed, I will not do it, I just want to know it I’m allowed to do it.
I know that freebuilds aren’t allowed, same with just publishing maps directly for the code, but I wasn’t sure about this.

Is it allowed?

Edit

Seems like the general consensus is that it’s not allowed, so I won’t do it.

In my opinion, code sharing isn’t allowed. its even dangerous and can lead to emotional destability in certain cases. that last bit isn’t applicable in this case since its not going to be on the editor your mental health will be safe and you won’t be cursed at like one code sharer.\

that’s not a threat, just a warning about what could happen if you host on the editor

Just to clarify, it will not be a freebuild or in the editor or anything like that.

If you think about it, posting codes for games on discovery seems to be okay, since the players cannot do anything about this map, everyone would be happy, right?
Not really.
Limiting your own stuff won’t affect what others do, for example, some people might join your game with an inappropriate word or a code to their freebuild game, and despite kicking them, they can still rejoin as long as they have the code to your game (personal experience).
This makes live games fully chaos, posting a non-freebuild code on discovery doesn’t really improves anything, to be honest.

Also, many people already get banned (on their Gimkit Account) for making too much live games.

well there is a guide on how to enhance the appropriate name system,

make it so no one can have numbers or specific words in their name

yay a lot of text blocks XD

is there a way to have names be randomised upon entry in that creative map?

Probably not, unfortunately.

I’m glad the whole community agrees on something for once.

It is against the Gimkit Creative Publishing TOS to do this.
