Player Joining Research

So, as you guys might know, Gimkit is kinda laggy.
Anyways, I have the idea that maybe, since there are multiple players, well, maybe, they spawn the host, then the other players. Anyways, I have already heard that the host is first to spawn, and I am here to prove it. I am going to use syncronized clocks

Epi! There are no synced clocks that start when player joins, that’s absurd! Plus, you wont even be able to spot the difference! And, you can only control one player at once!

Well, behold, my synconized clocks!

They are literally clocks! Basically, once you spawn, the clocks start ticking.
Now, for some reason, the host is slightly behind, and this does not make sense with the hypothesis:

Host spawn first, then players...

Well, this is cool.

Also, skins don’t animate if you’re not on the tab. Watch what it looks like when I go back to the tab. (also you get to see the very rare picture of me typing this.)

Look! It is the same!
And it took me like 5 minutes to type the stuff!
(you can believe me on this one, as there is no reason for me to lie.)

Anyways, this is just something cool I found.

lmao I actually used syncronized clocks

wait, if you have different times on the clocks, then it isn’t sycnronzied…

STOP YOU ARE MAKING THIS GUIDE LOOK BAD
Please ignore Jimmy. He is being rude

I don’t think this fits in with the ideas tag very much.

I didn’t add that tag…
I’ma delete it

Edit:
I deleted it.
Now, who added that tag?
Or did I do that myself…
I was looking at the ideas tag right after I made this topic

Took care of it👍

umm, lol I already took it off, and the one that u deleted was the research tag that slim added
anyways, back on tpic.
i think this might be lag or something like that, because I am very confused as to why this is happening

Interesting. Wonder what uses this could have (prob niche but still interesting)

The host spawns before the players as proven with this image. I used 3 separate tabs of Gimkit and then split-screened them to show at the same time.

I’m assuming the host starting with an ahead clock is just due to the randomization of the hands of the clock Gim for each player. You can see that the host has 0 clocks synced, player 2 has 2 clocks synced, and player 3 has all 3 clocks synced. This means that the host randomized each clock separately, player 2 randomized the host and its own clock together, and player 3 randomized all 3 clocks together. The only way this would be possible is for the host to spawn first, then player 2, and so on.

well how long did it take for the player to join the game

That would depend on external factors such as CPU, RAM, and wifi, that vary depending on the device.

well the clock must of kept going while the player was joining

Yeah… so? For the host, no players have loaded at the moment they enter, so the clocks all load individually. For player 2, only the host has loaded before the moment they enter, so player 2 and the host’s clock are loaded at the same time. For player 3, the host and player 2 have loaded before the moment they enter, so all 3 clocks are loaded at the same time.

Only the order seems to matter, not the time.

Is this a discovery or something else? What is the point of this post? (I’m a lil confused, sorry  ) (I am asking this in the nicest way possible. I am not trying to be that one person who is like, “IS THIS POST REALLY NECESSARY? WHY SHOULD WE KNOW THIS HAHAHDFAH?” Sorry… I went a little overboard.)

jimmy seems to be a bad boy. take away his screen time!

Can you not create a fake alter ego when making posts?

Anyways, there is not really a current point to this topic. It’s just research.
