Yeah, it is p.m.
And it’s different from an average uid because it uses seconds instead of milliseconds
Edit: which time zone does it use? Does it use a home time zone or just London time?
It’s based on your time zone I think because it is generated when you as the user starts/creates the game.
it had a .000Z which apparently means a fraction of a second. The Z indicates UTC timezone
By the way, if anyone doesn’t know what the Unix Epoch is, it’s the number of seconds which have passed since 00:00:00 UTC on Thursday, 1 January 1970 (non-leap)
where did he find that? That could actually be really helpful
Here:
I think this timestamp is created when the game is created with the objectID() function explaining why the host id and the host (the player) id are the same. The timestamp is probably created for each player when they load into the game. Oh well… Mystery solved ig. Now I can go about my day not worrying about the player id. ![]()
Here’s the thing though, it is 4:00 over here and it’s central daylight time
So by that logic, it would change every time they host or join a new game? I’m pretty sure it does, though, so yeah, you might be right.
Most likely, and I think that’s what happens.
Well, I’m, in CST. Could it be that the timestamp changes for each time zone?
Maybe if you put in your ID would it match with your time? Try it out.
in-game testing time! I’ll be right back with results
I believe we’re in the same time zone because daylight savings time but here’s my ID:
68154155b3a2799280dce342
What does your time say?
For me I got 5:04, and it’s 5:06 at my place right now.
Wow!
Everyone made so much progress!
@Forg (i know him irl) actually predicted that it might contain sensitive info, so if anyone wishes for me to delete their ID’s, I am more than happy to do that!
Sorry for doign this:
@here
Yeah that’s right I’m sending this at 17:07 rn
Then I guess it’s similar.
