New idea, what if the ID are server based increments?
Such as if there are 1 server the id would be 1
And 2 servers it would be 2
Next note the 6814 has changed to 6815
As seen in Coderdashes Id and mines comparison.
OH I DIDNT NOTICE THAT.
YOU JUST EARNED MY RESPECT FOR TODAY.
yes, i wanted to say gimit instead of gimkit.
Huh. Investigating now.
The first 4 digits would not be hour based as the 6814/24
Would be 283.916 recurring.
Wait, if the alt joined, wont the id be the same, as the account is the same?
Since this:
I don’t believe the name affects the player ID. If it did, there wouldn’t any purpose of the player ID.

This seems weird. Its glitching?
Edit:
Since i have two tabs, it is trying to show both ids at the same time.
Edit 2:
Forgor to make it player scope
Edit 3: there were 3 people, not two
Edit 4: I editied this so many times :)))
No I don’t think so cause technically a new ‘player’ joined the game
Wait… looking at your IDs, what if the hex digits after the first six chars are randomized like a uuid?
Seems like it.
Take @AstralLuke’s screenshots.
You can see after 6814da it is completly random.
we could create some mechanics off this. The ID changes, or is it permanent?
That still raises the question of what the first 6 chars are
that number string, right there! Almost everyone has that! @Coderdash’s ID has 6815, though…
Reinforces my belief that it’s a time stamp
(Don’t forget it’s hex tho, there’s two more characters to be accounted for)
timestamp? Elaborate, if you can.
Wait Apollo does that mean that all the gimkit url’s for discovery/building just the creators/host’s player ID? This is just a thought
You know how uuids have a hex-encoded unix millisecond timestamp? Im thinking when you convert the 6 chacters, it might come up as like a pointer to a time after a date (like today is 68… from date x)
It’s the first 6 chars
