I’ve seen other Gimkit Creative maps that show the picture instructions like the ones in normal Gimkit game modes. How could I do that in my own game?
You just need a barrier and some props in front of it!

It’s not curently possible to insert full-on pictures and screenshots, but you can do what Golden Galaxy suggested!

There have been some plans to add custom imagery to GKC for quite a while now actually!

If you’re referring to the visual instructions in most official gamemodes:
There isn’t currently a way to pull this off, as custom images are a dev-only option at the moment. [1] To replicate this, you can use barriers, props, text, custom shapes, and whatever you need to create your own art!
and tbh we should be grateful it is, because otherwise people would be putting random stolen/inappropriate images in their maps ↩︎
