(Open for any Ideas) Team Base Decoration Assistance

Statement valid one week after 3/6/26.

I am currently working on a team v team capture the flag map, and I am trying to make the bases actually look somewhat nice. However, that is what I am bad at in gimkit(I am terrible at decorating anything in my maps)

So I decided… what better thing to do than to ask the people in the forums for help. Currently I just have the basic foundation for the teams’ bases, which I will show now:

Ignore the devices in the image.

The other base looks the exact same but facing the left side instead of the right.

What I ask of everyone who looks at this is ideas… I want your opinion on this, and I hope that you could have a part in this map.

What kind of theme is this? I see you have the season ticket, so you shouldn’t have a problem choosing a theme.

Sorry… forgot to state that… this map is themed around an abandoned city in a jungle (still trying to figure out how to truly explain that)

And the season ticket just expired so I cannot use any season ticket items for the rest of the day.

Oops. I forgot about the expiration.

Well, in that case, I suggest adding things like alien plants, and little grass pockets everywhere. Add some bushes/trees and make sure to darkly tint them. Lastly, look up a guide on how to make vines and add them to some of your trees!

I will probably halt working on this map until I can get the season ticket again, so don’t worry about replying to this until at least tomorrow, that way I can actually use whatever props and devices I need for this.

Since we’re doing a jungle/Abandoned CIty theme. Plants are a must have, Trees, shrubs, That one prop that’s a potted fern. I also recommend the groundbreaking plants for area’s with stone or concrete floors. Like wise I think moss/lichen would look great! Although I’m not sure how exactly you’d make that, maybe the hay pile Prop but tinted to be green?

You could also use custom shapes and make vines or small wildlife like birds.

okay, so obviously as other people have stated, plants are a MUST.

what would be cool is an ABUNDANCE of plants

make some custom vines lining the walls, custom flowers to really pop out and make it look creative and unique.

Honestly what I’m seeing is big open space, and that’s no good. We need the space to be filled. Honestly, you might have too much space. maybe consider sizing down a littleeee bit.aybe add some cracks in floors, and have plants spread out of them.

I have taken some of these ideas into consideration, if I could mark a solution to multiple people I would… but I might as well leave this open in case more people wish to show ideas.

I will probably not be able to respond to this after today(maybe tomorrow if I’m lucky) for about a week… so just as a heads-up if you are waiting for me to respond during that time frame. The earliest I will be back is 3/16/26.
