On The Nature of a Relay: A Comprehensive Study on The Features of The Relay and Its Place In The Gimmunity

Alright, this is getting kind of out of hand. We just need to make a rule set and ask ClicClac or SpeedShinobi to edit it.

Setting down reasonable boundarys will help keep the forums cleaner, in my opinion. They should be written by experienced gimkitters, and the device should be new/origanal

It was still a great guide and I could have closed it! Yet it still got deleted-I am not going further because this does not deserve what mine got.

That’s what we’re doing. (Or at least what we were doing)

my criteria:

  1. at least 5 device settings (not counting channels)
  2. you must add more then what TUGTED already has
  3. your guide needs to have the nature-of format and include lots of details
  4. your guide needs to be of a more complex device no simple ones like a button
  5. you need to include devices it works well with as well as simple commonly used systems that include your device
  6. credit the nature-of guides and other ones of your device

I think there’s a pretty simple way to classify if a device deserves nature of
“Given a half hour, could a 2nd grader figure this out on their own?”

IDK if this true, since some games have no need for that.

Why did you reply to this?

wdym? I just wasn’t sure if it was true.

I don’t think this topic needed to be replied to.

The thing you are questioning is a pretty minor detail. It's not worth asking about, really. You could probably just guess the answer.

In case you really need to know, relays aren’t used in every game by any means, but they are used in most of the good ones.
