This guide is pretty much for any survival or scary GKC thumbnails
(I used kleki for this topic fyi)
Step One: Draw a base for the vine! (make sure to change the opacity before drawing!)
Step Two: Add a layer, outline the base (change to darker opacity!) You have the ability to make the tip of the vine pointy or lumpy. Your choice!
Step 2 1/2: Here’s a trick! Go to the edit above the color picker and find the distortion tool. This will make your vine have a “scary” vibe! If you don’t like the shape of the vine, play around with the distortion tool or keep your original shape of your vine! Erase your base before using the tool. Press the OK button when your done! Here is mine so far:
Step 3: Outline!
Step 4: This is where things get a little tricky: COLORING. All you need to do is select the fill button:
…And choose a color to fill in your vine! If you have any spots that aren’t filled, change back to the paint tool and fill them. Here’s mine:
Step 5: Add lines in the vine for detail with a slightly darker color:
Step 6: Possibly the hardest step in this tutorial: SHADING. Find a darker color that blends with the color you’re using and do something like this (I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU TO USE THE FADE TOOL AT ALL, THIS WILL MAKE YOUR VINE LOOK ALL “CLOUDY”) :
Step 7: Choose a dark shade of the color your using and add lines where the shading thing is:
do not copy the circles.
Step 8: Add some cute little spikes if you want to!
Step 9: If you want to make the plant look like it’s coming out, add a brownish color on the bottom of the vine:
Step 10: You’re done! I’m sorry if it looks bad, I got sleepy doing this XD.
