Personally I believe I think they should have released the Apoc props, and then added the new props.
However what i believe they are actually doing is releasing more free stuff at the next season ticket (like with platformer) which is uh in august .____.
I’m assuming it might be a pick up a drop. New props appear requiring season-ticket and after a couple of releases, the oldest new props will become free for the poor.
because team Gimkit needs money to pay for taxes, food, water, servers to host Gimkit, money to pay the team, money to make the updates themselves, a house, and alot more.
short answer: if you want GKC to continue to be a thing, team Gimkit needs the money.
now please everyone stop repeating the sentence. especially sense its all just school stuff which most games don’t have schools, so I think you can make due without them for the time being.
Hey, sweet update. I love all the new props and terrains, they’re super cool. (Been wanting to make a school game for a long time now.) The platformer update I’ve been especially waiting for. However, I do have a few questions. 200+ props and terrain are now locked to all but those who are allowed to purchase the Season Ticket. This is quite a significant number. I was fine with this when it was 75+ terrains and props that came with the Ticket, but now that Gimkit users are required to pay for more and more (an example would be the new limit of number of monthly hosted games), Gimkit is losing a substantial amount of its user-friendliness. I am not saying that I don’t want the Season Ticket to exist. I actually like the way it had been working: You pay $5 for some cool Cosmetics, increased Gimbucks limit, and free publishing. I’d be fine with all of the new changes if:
The exclusive material (Ticket Props, Terrains, etc.) were released to the general public after a set amount of time, or
Gimkit dialed back on their very in-one’s-face advertising. (50% of the times I’ve clicked on the ‘Home | Gimkit’ bookmark on my computer, an advertisement for Gimkit Pro appears.)
All in all, I’m loving the new additions to Gimkit, I just don’t agree with the way in which they are presented.
Oohhh it’s nice that there’s finally an update after so long! Just wondering though, is it possible to add the space pod prop from apocalypse? Additionally are there any new devices planned to be added? A damage detector would be really useful.
Guys, $5 is not that bad. How many ads do you encounter in Gimkit? 0. How much does it cost for fortnight’s pass? $7. How much does it cost for Rocket League’s pass? $10. How much for Clash of Clans and Brawl Stars’ pass? $7. Is it worth for buying ad-free on most games? No, too expensive.
Be grateful that Gimkit is both AD-free and only $5 for the season ticket, which lasts multiple months.
