New game idea help

i’m trying to make a game where you can play it solo but also with friends!

so i came up with Hungry Hungry hippos! its a board game what you see who can eat the most balls,i’m gonna do that but with flags.

What i need help on is how fast a flag can regenerate

You can put many flags but it’s not that efficient
