Need help making melee combat

I think it’s impossible the only thing I came up which is tagging pretty Mutch but, I need to make something better than tagging.

Either wait for a update or use a weapon but get rid of the range.

yes its extremely hard

You could use game overlays to turn on tagging for like 2 secs and tagging does not respawn but does broadcast to subtract health from the other player.
