I was playing my own CTF game with my friend, but we found a bug where when you collect the flag and get knocked out (picture 1) then you don’t have the flag in your inventory but it’s still on your back, also the flag would not appear in it’s position (picture 2)

Is it a visual bug? Can you still pick the flag up?

Like when you get knocked out? Then no, the player holding the flag will still keep holding the flag even when they are knocked out
This is most likely a mechanic glitch. The flag device is confused by the knockout and still thinks it should be equipped on to your back, while your inventory and game say otherwise.

Unfortunately not, we just have to wait for Gimkit to fix the bug.
