My sentry wasn’t appearing when I played my game & I tried leaving & reloading creative but it didn’t work. Placing down another sentry isn’t working either. Any idea why or how to fix it?
Only about 9 can be placed in the same area, so if there are too many it will cause some to disappear.
hang on lemme show u…
Anyone gonna help me?
Or is it a glitch in the creative system.
Well, Gimkit usually ends up glitching if you place too many sentries next to eachother.
Maybe rest your device, resting progress, all the good stuff.
Or maybe you accidentally deactivated your OP NPC or maybe codes are crashing.
Make sure the sentry is Active on game start.
If you have too many sentries in one tiny area, the game struggles to load them all, causing some to disappear.
Maybe make the sentry is in the back layer. Change it to front layer.
If all of the methods didn’t work, then
Make a new game, (Top-down or Platformer) and place 8 sentries again and see what happens. If all of the sentries show up, then your main game is probably crash out. If one of the sentries is missing, then Gimkit servers may not reach everyone’s code run. [1]
If all of these still don’t work, then maybe other people can help you but that’s all the methods I have.
It’s called a connection fai!ure. ↩︎
You could also try deleting and re-adding the buggy sentry.
Perhaps it’s obvious, but make sure your sentry is actually active in-game.
the game has a limit to how many sentries you can place in a small area.
they’ll show up in the editor but when you start the game some will be removed to fit the limit
Sometimes, sentries need a break too. Maybe it’s out sick?
-Real answer-
Sentries have always been buggy. Disappearing is common, and is usually related to using too much memory in a small area.
