Hey! Have you ever wanted to create a chart/Obby that doesn’t stink? I got ya, I’m making a new term called an Asymmetrical Obby. Asymmetrical, a term that is used usually in geography, is to be unbalanced, or uneven on any side or both. This is key to remember when making one.
Step:one: You likely want to start experimenting with shapes. Use squares and circles, unless you want to use a custom device. This can be a reference.
Step:two: I can not describe this in words! Work on your gameplay! Work on your gameplay! Work on your gameplay! When you have the shapes down, it should be familiar to start and create a few small jumps using the shapes you created.
Step:three: Perfect your gameplay! It’s easy to make a few jumps, but switch it up every then and now. Make a mix of slope jumps (I would recommend warped slopes); add head hitters! Depending on your Obby skill level, asymmetrical obbies are SUPPOSED to look hard. Keep that in mind, since it feels as if you a crowded within a bunch of shapes that don’t work together.
Step:four: Decorate it! Make the Obby claustrophobia inducing if you want it to be more tight, but still make it neat. LAYER YOUR SHAPES don’t be lazy! Add more shapes and blocks, mess around with them. The shapes will soon fall into order. For a reference:
You should be all good! Enjoy your day, (Photos taken from COFT, I have permission, I’m the creator lol) My first guide! ![]()
