Why Make A Teleport Button?

Teleport buttons can be used in a variety of ways. In apocalypse it is used to go back to base.

Making The Teleport Button

Place a game overlay and keep its default settings. Then using a wire connect it to a teleporter. Make it so when button pressed teleport player.

Advanced

Say you are making a game where you pvp. You want to make combat logging so they can’t teleport if shot. Currently, their is no way to do that. If their is put a guide in the comments section below. Place a speed modifier and set it to 0. Connect a wire to the game overlay and speed modifier so it says when pressed set player to set speed. Then connect the game overlay to a trigger. Make it so it says when pressed trigger. Set the trigger delay to 5 seconds. Then connect the trigger to a speed modifier and set the speed to 1 (Normal). Connect a wire so it says when triggered set player to speed.

Summary

In summary, basically what is happening is it sets your speed to zero. Then after five seconds after, you unfreeze and teleport. Please LIKE!!!

This is a little short, i recommend explaining it better, and adding pictures to the “advanced” section

use a overlay turn it into a button and add a teleport so wire so when it is press it it will teleport to the teleporter

  1. Add Game Overlay- make sure it is a button.
  2. Wire the button to a teleporter- Button pressed = teleport player here
  3. Place the teleporter where you want the player to go once you press the button.

i know but in games they have combat logging and advanced was the best way to re-create that

Criticism is key here. Many people probably know how teleport buttons work. Please don’t jump to conclusions before saying things.

Sweet guide!

Formatting is good,

Maybe try adding some more words and thoroughly explain your guide to the reader, so they can understand better.

And some emojis and more images would be better too!

Difficulty: Not that hard, pretty sure everybody knows how to make a Teleport button, but still good guide!

Anyways, I give this a 6.43/10!
