I just started using gimkit creative yesterday and I’ve got the foundation down already. I’m looking for people with any ideas to help me make my games. I’ve gotten some ideas but I cant find the right way to put them in. I don’t really know how this works and I need help from anyone who has more experience from me.
What games are you planning to make? That will give me some ideas on what to look for.
I think the best game you can make is one that’s an original idea. If you’re really stuck, there are plenty of guides you can search for.
Anyway, welcome to the guides @JnKit!
Hi! Welcome to Forums!!
Do not forget to read the Guidelines!
But in my opinion, the best games to make a PvP (Player .VS. Player) which are like fighting games.
Or Escape Games like where you have to escape for something or somewhere.
Or stuff like that, also if you need a little Inspo, you can play the pre-made games from Gimkit like Don’t Look Down, Fishtopia, Diamond Rush, Color Clash, Etc.
I hope you have only the best time playing Gimkit!
Enjoy and I hope this helps!
Nice to see new forum members; welcome to the GKC, @JnKit !
As @GimkitLover1 has suggested you should definitely read this forum’s guidelines! There’s a lot of rules to know to make sure you have a good time here and don’t accidentally go against the rules. Being flagged as off topic wouldn’t be a very fun introduction to the forums, lol.
Speaking of the guidelines I think they say something about not posting help topics when there’s already answers. We get plenty of userd asking for game ideas, but I can’t blame you-- they can be difficult to find.
I recommended searching on the Community Guidlines tab here for “game ideas”, or you can look through the help topic for others asking this and see what people are telling them.
I hope you have a good time here on the forums! :D.
this is a lengthy message lol and I think I used the semi colon wrong at the beginning also why do I sound so formal-
Some fun ideas are mazes! Laser maze, invisible maze… they all are good options (as long as you don’t make them too hard or too long to the point where they give up.
Maze setup ideas!
For a laser maze, set down a bunch of lasers with enough damage to k!ll player. If you want them to turn on and off, add a laser beam manager. The settings are pretty much self-explanatory.
For an invisible maze, use the same terrain pattern for the floors and the walls of the maze. For the walls, set the terrain to “wall” so it has collision. For the floor, put in on “floor” (that was unecessary wow)
Other possibilities are mining ones. Put down a bunch of dynamic terrains, and have them mine to try to find the hidden prize (you can use layers to hide it underneath). Again, short and sweet is better then long and menial.
I’ll probably think of more stuff later but thats what I got so far ![]()
