Even though they are leaving they shouldn’t make an entire new topic on them leaving.

Could have done it on a guide they made, or something else. No need for an entire new topic. It’s completely unnecessary. Yes, goodbye, they are leaving, but it doesn’t give them the right to make an entirely new topic to announce it. A reply always will do.
