Say you have a marble sign. You put a sentry on top of it and make sure in the layers section that it’s above the marble sign. But when you start the game, it appears below the marble sign.
Go back to the Layers tab and see if the layers reset.
Layers can be buggy and reset themselves at times.

Try putting the marble sign in the below layer and the sentry in the above one.
