Is there any way to mine the ground in gimkit platformer?

I am trying to make a minecraft world and i need help.

Hi pikapichu14!

So do you mean the customizable ground tiles or the placable tiles? You cannot mine the default ground tiles, but you can use dynamic terrain for your Minecraft world, and pretend that it was the ground tiles

Oh, @pikapichu14 can I have a picture of what you have right now? Well, you would need some dynamic terrain. Plus, a pickaxe from a starting inventory.

@pikapichu14, It depends on what terrain you have, you need a pickaxe to mine, but can only mine these terrain: Dynamic Dirt, Sand, Stone, Gold, Diamonds, Copper, and Silver. The mining time depends on what rarity your pickaxe is. Hope this helps!

To do this, you have to put down dynamic terrain, building up to a certain elevation from the original ground level, and the height at which you stop will basically become the new ground level. Then you should just give the players a pickaxe (best option) or other gadget so that they will be able to mine it.

Hey, @pikapichu14, welcome to the forums! Looks like you haven’t done anything with this topic for more than 24 hours, and (not to rush!) it would be great if you could answer some of your fellow forumers or mark the most helpful post as a solution.

In case you need more help:

In platformer mode, the only terrain that can be mined by default is dynamic terrain — that is, dynamic stone, dynamic sand, dynamic gold, etc. They can be damaged using any gadget, but a pickaxe is the best thing to use. The “rarer” the dynamic terrain, the more health it has, and the harder it is to break. Better pickaxe rarities do more damage as well, and can mine better ores.

Here’s a guide for making damageable props, other than dynamic terrain, that give you items!

Set the floor type to dynamic dirt or stone.

If any of this helps, please mark a solution! (But no rush. I’ve just come back from a seven day break, and cannot be talking.)
