Intro: Welcome, friend. You are probably here to make an epic game of infection tag. Before I tell you the steps, you need to know that the text below devices is the settings you need to put each device to, in case you missed it or didn’t understand. You do not need to put the text below the devices.

Before you begin, make it 2 teams. Turn on ally & enemy indicators. Set health and shield to whatever you desire. Turn on Infinite refills. Reload speed should be default. Make everything delete in the item/gadget/resource respawn settings. Set the game time limit to count down and whatever time you want. If you can, add 15 seconds to the timer. After you do these settings, you are ready to build.

So, first you want to place a lifecycle and set it to “Game Start”.

Place a relay and set it to all players. wire the lifecycle to the relay: Event occurs → Trigger Relay.

Set a team switcher down and make it change to team one. make the relay change everyone’s team to team 1. Wire the relay to the team switcher.

Put 2 wire nodes down. set one to 5 seconds delay and the other to 15 seconds delay. Wire the lifecycle to the 15 second node and wire the relay to the 5 second node. I hope that makes sense.

Now we will work with the 5 second wire node. Place down 2 item granters near the wire node. You will need to wire the node to both of the item granters.

Put a different gadget in each of the item granters. Their dmg, speed, rarity etc. should be based on the health you set in the settings earlier.
Here is what it should look like after step 7:

Now we are going to go to the 15 second wire node. You are going to need a relay, team switcher, and speed modifier.

First off for this part, place down the relay and set it to “Random Player.” Wire the 15 second node to the relay.

Place down a team switcher and a speed modifier. Set the team switcher to team 2 and set the speed modifier to 1.25x. Wire the relay to both machines.

This is the system to start the game. Now we are going to start part 2. Part 2 involves the tag to infect system.

To start this part, place down a tag zone device. Set the tagging team to team 2, the zone to the whole map, and the Tag distance to 1.5 tiles if you do not already have it set to that.

Place a team switcher and set it to Team 2. Wire the tag zone device to the team switcher: Player gets tagged by someone else → Switch Player to Configured Team.

Copy the speed modifier you used earlier. Wire the tag zone device to the speed modifier: Player gets tagged by someone else → Set player to configured speed.

Now, you have the machines done, this is what it should look like:

It is now time for you to build your map. Build whatever theme that you want for your map. Be sure to make obstacles and decorations. Essentially build an environment you want your infection game to play out in.
