I wanna make a simulator/tycoon and i want there to be upgrades anyone know how

Upgrade that make you get money faster

Maybe like use an item checker and if the player has a certain amount of something they can afford other stuff from another vending machine or you can use an item granter that just puts the upgraded item in their inventory when they have a certain amount of something?
