Ideas for Pokemon game mode mechanics?

I’m planning on making a Pokemon map, any ideas for battle systems, how to make Pokemon, etc.?

I’ve tried making a turn based rpg system but I haven’t made a guide for it. Basically, pressing an pop up button triggers a trigger that calculates damage using blockcode, which is displayed by text that displays a property.

You could maybe implement status effects like Sleep or Burn somehow?

You could change the health and challenge of a sentry and set it on certain team to create battles. The random battles could use a trigger to cause an encounter.
