Ideas For Newly, Fresh Traps Which Can Easily Rage Players

I think disappearing platform and hidden lasers were kind of too common, so I want you guys to throw at my face all of your ideas of traps that can easily rage people. (pls make it x10 vile)

The snake route from Getting over it ,basically its a path that has signs that says dont take this route but if the player takes the route they go to the beginning of the game.

I have one tho. Random popups which were somehow and someway randomly pops out to annoy players and trouble the players

I just thought questioner cuz it forces people to answer stuff and you can make sure it can’t be closed

but I got another idea

Add an item granter wired to a zone (player enters zone > grant item), and make the item granter grant -999999 of something (like dynamic blocks or something idk). This will make it so when the player leaves the zone, it’ll lag REALLY BAD

Or make 5 possible doorways, 4 lead to a respawn and 1 leads to freedom to proceed (or not >:D) but they randomize each time

Fresh traps?

What jumps are they? Prop jumps?

Make an area with a trigger that collapses the floor underneath them, oofing them, and also sending then to the beginning.

Sounds like a disappearing prop to me with somehow and someway doesn’t end up in my fresh n’ new idea catagory

If you don’t know, a camera point moves the player’s sight to where the point is placed. If you wire one to a zone (player enters zone > activate point), then you can place it somewhere random, forcing the player to navigate the next section by memory

No, i had this in a map, i forgot a few details.

Give the player dynamic blocks so they think they can clutch.
But add popups so they have to click out of it to clutch.

Once they die, add a message that says like "XDD TOU FELL FOR IT LOLLLLL

You also fall down a hole that’s invisible but put arrows where the walls are, with a helpful message like “try to clutch on this wall!”

Oh yeah, randomly, add a bunch of sentries. (idk why i said ÔµŐ°Ă­s)

Speed modifier abuse?

Have a bunch of zones like dis:


Now wire a trigger to those zones (player enters zone > trigger)

Now make a good old RNG that randomizes channels.

Make each channel correspond to a speed modifier (0.25x speed to 2x speed)

Or not, wasn’t the best idea :person_shrugging:

Building a lag machine is prolly’ the best concept I could think of
