Ideas for game mechanics? Game title: General Anarchy Game

I’m making a game that’s all about anarchy. There are going to be different roles such as king, queen, jester, guard, and peasant (working on more). I haven’t worked on the game at all except for the settings. Any ideas on when and how to elect a new leader, or cause certain events like that?

You could maybe do something like “after 2 minutes, every one minute a random event happens”

Here are some event ideas

  • Poison - everybody takes 5 damage every 3 seconds
  • Meteor shower - meteors fall from the sky and do 50 damage on hit
  • Invasion - A ton of sentry soldiers spawn in the map
  • Money rain - Money begins to spawn in the map

so its name is G.A.G?

Definitely make an election system. But make an election happen after each event.
