Ideas for Buildings, Easter Eggs, and Decor

HELLO forumers! I am here requesting some ideas for stuff to put in my in-game map!




It’s looking a little empty, isn’t it?


Thankfully, ya’ll are here to change that! I am asking for ideas for any significant structures in my game. These can include

  • Buildings
  • Ruins
  • or any other type of structure!

You can suggest anything! All it needs to do, is follow this format:

  1. Name of structure
  2. Does an item spawn here? (Yes/No)
  3. (if the above answer is yes) What type of item spawns here? (Medkit/Boost Berry)
  4. Player spawns here? (Yes/No)
  5. Picture of structure: (Would help, but not required :)
  6. Memory cost: I need this because my map has limited memory to spend on the map)

All ideas are helpful! Keep in mind that I have limited space and memory so not all ideas will be accepted. Thanks!

Y’know what, sure, why not. Also, the ideas tag is for Community Made Guides only.
Also, I might only have space for 2 other large structures. I can have several small ones (like what cummins-b6.7-octane suggested), but just 2 or 3 big ones.

you could add a monster cocoon if u have like a spooky area it will take 1080 memory and heres a pic of it that I did a while ago


you also need to some layering so that the sentry wont just pop out of the barrier when the game starts

try to make the river more wind-y, and use light blue water around the edge to simulate depth. you could also add a shore of sand, with no collision below layer rocks dotting it.

Maybe make the bridges more detailed by adding more wooden planks that are curved for some more detail.

Overgrown Grotto
Item Spawn: Epic Wooden Wand
No Player Spawn
Not willing to design a full structure rn, sorry.
Description would be a maze accessed through a sewer grate in that canal system you have, tping the player to a timed maze where they oof from either drowning or toxic fumes if they don’t complete it. Maze randomizes obstructions and pathways, with metallic grates and related props at start, shifting to vines as you go deeper. At the end is an overgrown chamber you surface into, you fight two basic Evil Plants, and grab the Wand from an altar before using a flower to climb to the surface on a giant vine that breaks through the map somewhere. No players may enter after this occurs.

@King_Thunder_Alt1: I’m not really going for that kind of stuff. I more going for some small structures or buildings to include in my map. For example, you could suggest and idea for an abandoned shop, but a full on maze would be a little not fitting for my map. Great idea, though.
(FYI by item spawn, you can only choose a Medkit or a Boost Berry, nothing else)

My bad,

Resurgence of Nature
Vines creep over a small stone ruin in the north west corner of the map, twisting into sentient amalgamations of roots and rubble, protecting an ancient plant growing from the center of what used to be an alter, the yellowed flesh of its fruits being rumored to provide a dramatic boost to the speed of the consumer.
