Thanksgiving is coming soon, and I want to make a great platformer. While it is easy for me to to make a them, I sometime run out of ideas and and can’t find new ones.
Is there any ideas that you have I could try in my platformer? I’ll tell you if I’ve used any you have listed.
How about…
a feast table?
autumn leaves?
boxes of apples?
corn?
Some things to keep in mind:
Thanksgiving is a holiday to eat and gather with family and friends. (include food)
Also, in the fall, that’s the harvest season! You can add crops/autumn leaves/close-to-bare trees.
That’s all I have for now…
You know, one creative idea just popped into my head!
The Spinning Leaves
You could use a custom drawing device to draw a big autumn leaf.
Then you could animate it to spin.
Players have to jump on these leaves to get across the… sky (?).
Thanksgiving, the holiday where we big backs can overeat and call it celebratory
In other words, a solid foodie holiday :]
(I am a huge eater and proud of it)
Yeah, I’ll grab some ideas for ya. How about:
Cornucopia: A big ole cornucopia made out of non-collision barriers that players can enter and reap whatever rewards you want to hide inside.
Farm-to-table: A little section where you harvest food and prepare a nice lil meal
LEAF PILESSS: It’s a little bit more autumn-based than Thanksgiving, but it would be interesting to have some random leaf piles scattered about that, when you jump in them, send leaves flying everywhere
