I need Inspiration for my next creative map. (Space Theme)
tell us more about the game
What’s the goal, gameplay, how does it look, etc.

u mean one way out?

Think, No way out. But more advanced. I’ve started working on it not long ago, also trying to integrate a puzzle system for the player to figure out for example, find the keycard then use it on the gate console to escape the barrier.
I made new lore. some of it is a little messed up. I made a secret already - it’s an overpowered gadget (quantum portal (legendary) and the plants Arnt called plants their called the corticepts, it’s a real thing not just from the last of us but the real one is on bugs this kind just makes it creature instead of hosting. and I don’t know how to add a mini map! and it is big @Zappy_Zaptos.
yes. ![]()
sorry yes, my mistake
and yes, with plants “![]()
”
- Make new lore
Everyone already knows the old one way out lore - Add memes hidden around
Game gotta be funny - Give players a mini map
Game looks big - Add upgrades and classes
I know that One Way Out originally ends when you either manually end it, or someone reaches the end. So maybe have there be a part where you ahave to operate a ship of your own to land successfully back on Earth (or whatever Gimkit world you choose).
good idea. that is actually what I was planning though, but that gave me the idea of making a part two in a separate game. but instead of landing I want the player to defeat the final boss, after ending it, because its deeply imbedded into the ship the impact of the defeat causes an eplosion that makes the ship crash on the planet spreading the plant infestation to that planet (Earth). but instead of the regular earth I want the Impact (eplosion of ship) to be so large that it makes the map look like the Apocalypse mode.
Good idea! Maybe show them starting in the map on Earth, before the explosion? Just makes sense to me, where the journey starts there and ends there (but barren).
You gave me the solution so thanks!
the text on the floor is supposed to look like they painted it there not, so you know where areas are although that is kind of what it’s for @Fireball
…I know you already have a solution, but I just wanted to recommend using a game overlay instead of text for area names. Or, just put white outline around the text so it looks polished.
