so I’ve been kind of bored because I have no ideas so it would be nice if I could have some ideas i have already made a get a snack at 3 am style game (go to bk at 1 am) a laser tag game
(just laser tag) and I’m working on a dungeon crawler and I don’t know where to start on a horror so some ideas would be really nice

You could do a capture the flag game
Or you could recreate a Gimkit game, but change some of the things in it.

A horror game you say? I like this one.
First of all, make a creepy but not too creepy, after all gimkit is a kid friendly game.
Second, you’ll want to make the story lore filled, make it impactful, make it have an affect on the player and how they think of games.
Third, Add cut-scenes and or jump-scares to any monster no matter how frequent. It’ll keep the player on their toes no matter what…
And lastly, make sure to make almost every room horrifyingly dark, make everything barely visible with maybe a flashlight that gives you just enough light for a quick examination of what’s around you…
A few extra tips would be to make it to where you can’t read ANYTHING unless you have a source of light, whether it be just dim enough to read. Let the player ONLY be able to read in some form of light. If it is too dark in the room, maybe have a dialogue that explains they need to find some light so they can read the hints properly.
I could easily go on.

Even better.
Use the circus tent as an area of haunted relations. Maybe make some of the clowns or circus performers ghosts or maybe even some form of a corrupted monster. Make the player be taken h0stage by the ringleader which could be the head ghost and or monster. Force the player to play along with the ringleader’s twisted games and tricks in order to make it out alive… And make sure to make it unfair and horrifying for the player all at the same time.
Maybe have the player walk across a tightrope, whilst being shot at by sentries wearing the Bone gim skin, to make it look like Skeletons are trying to sh00t you off the tightrope.
There’s a lot you could do with a circus horror map, you just have to know where to look.

but I have a strong story its where you see a old pamphlet for the circus and you are bored so you go only to find yourself in a abondand circus you get locked in you are TRAPPED!!! and you must run from clowns and corrupted seal robots because they didn’t use live animals find the golden key ESCAPE!!
