I need ideas for my Christmas game!
add side quests
stuff like water the chrismas tree, burn the presents, etc
you’ll get useful items for it
make a quest where you defeat waffle haters in battle
Possibly different endings @Waffle_Lover_4_Life?
An ending for making different choices, or doing quests like @Zappy_Zaptos said.
Yo that’s actually such a good idea for her ![]()

No rudeness intended ↩︎
make a whole factory of making stuff for Santa including cookies
and make it so there are elfs and you are one too
I know this probably isn’t what you mean, but what if you discover one of the cookies is poisoned, then you have to piece together the clues to figure out which elf did it, and then if you get it done, you unlock a secret cookie recipe, or a secret section of the map etc.
Like @Zappy_Zaptos said, this could be a secret quest that you can discover if you click on a cookie hidden in, say, a dark corner of the room, or behind a shelf.
murrderr mystery woohoo
Ideas!!!
-
Different types of cookies. I’m not sure if you already have this in the game, but besides regular chocolate chip, I think it could be cute to have different Christmas themed cookies. They don’t have to actually be a part of the game, but I think if you used it as like decor on the counters it could look really cute and festive.

More objectives. To make it even harder and more engaging for the player, I think if you had more steps that went into the cookie making process it could really bring things together nicely. For example: In addition to having to bake cookies, every so often the player runs out of ingredients and has to go to the storage closet to get more. This not only gives the player more to focus on, but it also makes things a little more difficult depending on the location of the storage closet.
mass ping = nono
I tried to find the old rules that were edited, but for some reason they are not there.
So yes, mass pinging is prohibited by the rules, so I recommend that you remove the pings.
But you know, nobody will punish you except the community, because our moderation team has more important things to do (BH doesn’t count, he’s already a sigma gigachad).
Add a quest where you have to make toys for everyone.
Make a quest where you must battle a dark elf.
make a quest where you escape santa’s workshop.
Make a quest where you chase after an escaping gingerbread man.
Don’t ping me.
Summary
Nagi’s back tommorow!
An ending where the player ruins everything
Make the map explorable
You need to look for elves to give you cookie ingredients,
or some other reason to explore, it’s your game
Think I only talked to him once, still excited to meet him!
This is pretty much adding on to the idea of side quests, but you should make an objective of finding a list of ingredients at the start of the game, where people have to gather all the ingredients before they can bake the cookies.
The ingredients should all be spread out in different biomes or areas around the map, making the game harder. Along the way, there should be additional tasks that players could choose to take on. These tasks could result in the ingredients you find.
There should be choices of which ingredients to get, and based on how the cookie was made, there could be different endings with Santa eating them. Ex: You chose to add salt and pepper to your cookies, so Santa gets mad and puts you on the naughty list.
Building onto this, since everyone has been giving great side quests and there’s not much more for me to add on that topic, maybe you could add a plot
Like, a storyline, linking the mini side quests together to uncover something more impactful.
Something along these lines:
It was a dark and stormy night, and the people of elfville were struggling to meet ends. Suddenly a bright flash lit up the sky, and a chubby man with a beard came down and said to them: Are you starving? Are you suffering? Come to my place and I will offer you food and shelter, so long as you work for me!
The elves, tired and desperate, came with him, believing him to be their savoir. Little did they know, he was planning for them to be much more than just workers…
(And then the game is set 200 years after this happened, my idea is that santa made them into experiments, buuut if thats inappropriate, you could have santa make them all slaves and the elves have a uprising, take back their homeland and they live happily ever after.)
Edit 1: Or, if you want Santa to be good you could make it that Santa saved them from another, corrupt person, and now that person is coming back for revenge.
Probably a system where you can take orders from elves to give cookies(random) to them?
