I just need a general map idea for chapter 2, so that way when the game is published I am able to update it faster than my usual work pace (1 month).
Chapter 1 : Mineshaft Madness
the 2nd chapter can be literally anything because I’m meta and I use portals because I hate common sense

Same, I use popup call to actions instead of buttons.

You found it. A portal to a secret land. You enter. When you step out:
A: You are in a ruined world. Covered completely in darkness by a curse. It is barren and there are no plants. The only source of light is a volcano or two. The DARK DESSERT.
B: You are in a spaceship. That’s not the worst part though. You are being dragged into a blackhole. You need to escape it. The BLACKHOLE ESCAPE.
