I need ideas for my puzzle game

so I’m working on a game where you go from room to room and complete puzzles, the puzzles get harder each room you go through and I need some puzzle ideas

Maybe some escape rooms, riddles, scavenger hunts that get increasingly difficult.

You could do timed puzzles

Puzzle 1

Theres 4 pillars, one pillar red, another blue, another green, and another yellow, and an orb in the middle, on one of the pillars a text reads:
“Three lie and one tells true.”
Each pillar has a pedestal for an orb to go on.
The red pillar says,
“I am not the liar.”
The blue pillar says,
“Green is the liar.”
The green pillar says,
“Yellow lies.”
The yellow pillar says.
“Blue tells the truth.”

The player will have to put the orb on the correct pedestal. the truthful pedestal is green.

The reason I got this puzzle so fast is because I used to make a game about puzzles lol

thinkin about more

yeah, I’ma add that for the first room

I’m adding a time to the game so I don’t really need timed puzzles
(I also hate timed puzzles)

You could do an invisible maze-like puzzle that you have to memorize the path
(words are hard)

Maybe add “explosive device” with a timer In the middle that will explode and eliminate the play when it reaches zero?

yeah that would work (its fine)

oooo I love that idea

I’ll add this as the second room

btw I forgot to add this but there are 20 rooms, 5 for each difficulty, it ranks from, beginner: easy, medium, hard, expert

Trap name: Dead man’s switch

Quite simple: you switch the trap on manually and have 20 seconds to get to the Deactivation zone. (time can be extended or cut short)
Reply back if you want the creation process
