I want to make a splatoon type game and I wanna base it off the gimkit paint wars but I have no clue what happening in the paint wars so I need ideas

Use my guide to create the splatoon tile thingys. As for stuff to add, you could add not only coloring tiles but also PvP with different classes representing different paint war forumers.

to recreate their squid form, you can give players health constantly and speed boost for a short period so it can kind of look like the game.

A special ability could be gain a short speed boost when your out of ammo and need to reload.
You can upgrade the speed using XP from quest and battles.

Able to bl!nd players and escape whenever an overlay is pressed but can’t attack when ability is active.
(Just a camera point thats over a white barrier.)
Also is this FFA or team?

both there will be different game modes
custom coster
Custom coaster gives and adrenaline boost to his teammates and himself, this boost increases damage and speed.
