Can somebody help me with the wires and devices to make alternating lights like a marquee frame? If you don’t know they are commonly used on movie posters and on billboards. It looks like this:
But I’m trying to use it on a laboratory sign.
I want to alternate the lights (which are barriers) with a white version which looks like they’re turned off.

Try using some of the same things used here (lol posted 3hrs ago)
This is a tutorial about how to make an online, and animated commercials you see on gigantic billboards :3
For the build hack, please edit on layers so your billboard will work!
Step 1. Counters and the billboard base
It depends on how long you want your animation to be, I recommend using these counters here:

Set the counters these settings:

And for the counters that has the 1 sec countdown, do these settings:

You would likely use a loop animation using triggers for each of the flashing lights- individually.
I don’t know if there’s a better way to do it, though.
The animation system used in that guide is obsolete- the counters are unnecessary, and takes extra memory.
I think this guide is a goodloop animation:
Want to make a looping animation relatively quickly? Look no further than the CLAS, an animation system that I created that only uses 5 devices TOTAL, and only 3 UNIQUE devices. So even if you might not use it, why not take a look?
Purpose The purpose of The CLAS System is to cut down on memory when creating animations, you only need 2 devices and 3 wires. Isn’t that sweet? Sorry, I’m getting ahead of myself.
Instructions:
Materials Like I said, the CALS System only uses 5 devices. These devices…

Just because it takes more memory doesn’t mean that it’s an unusable guide.
I would prefer to minimize the amount of memory I’m using because I tend to use a lot of stuff considering that this is going to be a BIG game.
It does mean that there are more efficient ways to do it, though.
Thank you for providing the tutorial! It worked perfectly!
