Just for the record, I used AI to help with the backgrounds SLIGHTLY. Otherwise, the colouring and blends are done by hand.
eh I just don’t like when it looks like a real photo with pasted gims on it
I’m also just good at and enjoy criticizing everything possible

id reccomend trying to draw the background yourself, it seems intimidating but its actually quite easy!!

AI is useful as long as you own up to it sometimes I like using AI to edit things

also this goes for any thumbnails with small text on them, particularly stuff that characters are saying, its going to be shrunken down and practically invisible when its published so its just not really worth it

the problem with tiny details is that the thumbnail is going to appear a lot a lot smaller when on the thing
