I cant see the thumbnail I downloaded to my Google drive when I'm trying to publish

I’m trying to publish my map, but I can’t see any of the thumbnails I downloaded to my Google Drive. It’s been a few days and I still can’t see any of them. I’ve downloaded them to multiple folders and in several different ways, but it still isn’t working. Help?

Are your images Jpegs?

I think they will only work if they are PNGs.
