Okay, so, I was trying to figure out what characters to add into my UCN game as a Challenger Character (my games equivalent of the animatronics Deedee spawns in in UCN)
and I decided one of those to be Chompz.
The Chompz Gim is a dinosaur Gim, and I want it to have the same mechanic as Nightmare Chica from UCN, which is her jaws over your head slowly closing down, which might cause the bite of 26’ if you don’t activate the fan.
The problem is, in Gimkit, there’s not a first person mode, and so It would be really confusing if her jaws were just basically eating the room because of the perspective.
Please help :]
make chompz eat the room then, it would be funny, also if not then idk.
I wanna make it somehow be like their jaws over your head, but then I dont want the chompz Gim to be visible from the player’s perspective except the mouth.
So I’m not one hundred percent certain, quick question though, can the player move around in the game? The nightguard I mean.
Make it translucent so it doesn’t block important things that need to be seen, and make it enclose around the office because you can’t completely lock it to the player’s screen.
I think the best thing to do is to just use a camera view to get close to the perspective you’re looking for. First person is probably impossible in Gimkit. Maybe to make it more intense, use translucent barriers to make flashing red lights, and put as much detail as you can into the jaws of Chompz.
Lol just use < wordfiller > and remove the spaces. Keep in mind it can only be letters in-between the symbols.
Only the office. 20wordfiller67
I already am using a camera view, and the camera view can’t go that low.
That would just make Chompz a huge metal eating dyanador
So is there any way to resize the room to make it better?
The smallest you can get for a camera view is to make it 8x8 tiles, so unless the office needs to be bigger, make it that size.
Idea - Use Blackhole’s 3d system to make a pseudo first person that activates while the chompz gim is about to bite you.
Is there a guide on that? I searched it up but couldn’t get any results.
Chompz getting to the stage with 5 seconds left before you d1E teleports you to a room and you must press the invisible button that is located on the fan, which prevents the d3@tH/resets the progress and teleports you back to the office.
Yeah but I need the jaws to have a good placement, not the thing that stops them.
Ohhh alright, when I get home ill jo1n the Gimkit Discord.
What does that mean? Making the POV extremely small?
Probably not :3,
Im not on the Gimkit Discord but I think Blackhole was on there (please correct me if Im wrong, Im probably wrong). Anyways if they are on the discord you might be able to beg them for a guide.
If not Im pretty sure its just a bunch of properties that record your x, y, and z coordinates and show the matching barrier.
Edit - @AlexC, Im talking about Blackhole’s 3d game on discovery… which is 3d, hence the name.
Well if you a player location tracker for such a small space to make the teeth go to their position and still have the animation to slowly close, it would probably take about 40% memory(probably more?) for it to be on the player instead of the office.
A 3rd coordinate only exists in a 3D space.
Edit: Oh.
