im using it for my hide and seek map to make it more interesting g
Looks fine to me! The weird text you may be talking about is the player ID. I used it because itâs length is always the same, and unique. Using player names was a weakness of the previous version, because 2 players can have the same name. That overlay is meant to be used for playtesting, and can be removed once you ensure that the system works, which it does for you. If you want it to show your coordinates, you can do that using the x and y properties.
Iâm really sorry if itâs still not working for you. I would check to see if your block code is correct. Go through all of them and see if your text blocks that are correct with no extra spaces, see if youâre using the right numbers, and ensure that variables are being set and not changed. Do you have any extra information? Are both overlays appearing? What are they showing?
To answer your question @Fulcrum-19 and maybe you could help too with this more info i guess @Kormorant, but both overlays are showing and the player id one with their coordinates is updating but the other one that shows the distance is not updating.
it always says 0 meters away.
also everything is the same for that overlay i just changed the text so it doesnt say âthe closest player is at (?, ?) which isâ but âthe closest player is ? meters away.
So the top right overlay is working. Can I see the code blocks of your second item granter?
So im on iPad and i cant see the whole thingy at once so itâs divided into many screenshots⌠SORRY! ![]()
I guess there was an update after you took ur screenshots or maybe its just bc im on an iPad but the addition/subtraction/dividing/multiplying thingy block does not look the same as urs @Fulcrum-19
i looked over it multiple times and i honestly cant see any difference but im kinda slow [1] soâŚ
check bio âŠď¸
I can see the blocks seem fine, but is this from part 3 so I can double-check?
yea i think so
It is the second item spawner
They look the same. Can we see your second overlay code?
Yeah, I donât see why it isnât working.
The issue doesnât seem to be with the code. The issue most likely lies within one of your properties. Check all properties from part 3, specifically types and scopes. I believe it is the âPlayersâ property that isnât correct, and it never tracks the players because itâs a text property.

sorry it took so long to respond but i was hanging out w/ my cousins from up northâŚ
i checked all the properties and everything seems to be in order
maybe i should just give up on this thing ![]()
